Lead and Manage are the keys to be an effective Leader:-)

Hi Yah Mommies:-)

I was so busy last monday and forgot to post this...

I've started my day with a meeting with my boss in The Purple Tree... (check this.link for the hotel infos.)

And since it's a Management meeting no time to take a picture...pero nakapuslit pa rin si crazeemum:-) hahaha!)

The meeting went well.. It is just an update of our departments performance and issues:-)  

And some pieces of advise was given by my boss... He said that as a Manager We should act like "a manager"  and One of the managers said that:" Hold your Head higher than your Heart" Huh! nagulantang ako dun ah...Ano ibig sabihin nito?

Is this mean to forget all the emotional eclavu in the office or forget to be a DRAMA QUEEN! and need to value what you think is right?

Oh Men! This is so hard for me? Why? Yeah I'm a part of the Management and I should act on the company's best interest but I would also want to say that I am also the head of the Human Resource and as a Manager I should LEAD and MANAGE.  dapat partner yan...If  I can only manage and never thinks of my people, people will not feel valued and it will affect their performance.  But on the other side, My officemate is right, if you worry too much of your people's people... nakupo! Lagot na!!!

What to do now???

As a crazeemum.... I am not saying na I am a perfect a perfect Leader ha... but I have these 3 Qualities that I can be an effective one.

1. Enegetic - syempre kung lalampa lampa ka... paano ka susundin ng mga tao....  Dapat may energy!!!! sa lahat ng bagay... ang isip mabilis...  may sagot agad o palusot sa mga tanong at critismo:-)

2. Self-Motivation - Pag wala ka nito... paano mo mamomotivate ang mga tao mo?  dapat sayo nag uumpisa ang salitang MOTIVATION!

3. Openness - This is one of the qualities a Manager should... He/She should be a good conversationalist.. meaning,,,, you are open and can listen to your people.. khit 2 minutes lang pagbigyan mo sila... kung open ka sa kanila at open sila sayo.. nde ka magdadalawang isip na pagsa bihan sila sa mga mali nila... 

At higit sa lahat as a leader open ka rin dapat sa mga suggestions nila, sa mga criticisms...  Be open wag kang magagalit sa kanila... Be open minded:-)

Mahirap ba maging Leader?
