Tomorrow, December 30, 2014 is not only non-Working Holiday but also a Gambling Holiday. So attention to all gamblers, sabungero, mananaya ng jai alai at video karera mag hunis dili kayo! Pahinga muna sa sugal sa araw na ito ha;-)
According to Republic Act No. 229 signed by the late president Elpidio Quirino, Rizal day specifically prohibits cockfighting, horse racing and jai alai on Rizal dayin commemoration of the death of our national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal.
Anyone who will be caught betting on these games will have a criminal case and be fined a minimum of PHP200.00 and a minimum improsonment of six(6) months.
