How are you?  The weather is fine now but the pork barrel issue is still around the corner!OMG! what to do?

I want to share something... We got our salary increment this month, At first I was not so happy with the result of my increase. I can't help but compare my increase with the others.  Hinde ako magpapaka ipokrito… I was so affected!

As the leader, I knew I should be strong and be a model to the employees dapat hinde ako affected.  Pero naman! Pano ko gagawin yun diba?

So days and week passed!  I even  blogged the day I distributed the result of our performance review to my officemates. 

And realized that being a leader is like being a mom… makakain lang ang anak mo… kahit wag kana.

Sana.. sana lang.. maisip yan ng mga nasa posisyon sa gobyerno natin.

Back to my increase.  When I got my adjusted salary I wondered… baket, parang walang epekto sa increase ko?

Ang salarin! Ang Witholding Tax ko!!!  Kaya sino ang hinde magagalit kung kinukurakot ng mga opisyales ng gobyerno ang pera ng taong bayan?

Ano ba ang pwedeng gawin ng isang ordinaryong Pilipino?

Pork Menudo ala crazeemum

Hi Yah Mommies:-)

I love cooking now, and I'm here again to share my instant menudo/afritada:pork

Ingredients:
mama sitas menudo/afritada mix
pork
pork liver
hotdogs
bell peppers
potatoes
carrots

For the preparation:

1. stir fry the carrots and the potatoes

                                   

2. Set aside

 3. Stir fry the hotdogs then set-aside

4.mix the menudo/afritada seasoning in the glass with water

 4. stir-fry the pork until golden brown

before frying:
put 1 teaspoon kikoman
konting patis at toyo
and a little magic sarap
mixed!
for mas malinamnam na karne!

5. mix all the ingredients...

6. Serve Hot!

The Wonders of Left Over Food!

Hi Yah Mommies:-)

Sometimes when we  are hungry and we are in hurry!  We just go to our pantry and checked canned goods for our meals.

So mommies, I am recommending to stock some goods on your pantry, in case of emergency, like last last week when Typhoon Maring invaded Manila.

Here, I found this Hereford corned beef in my pantry.  This is so easy to prepare.. you just need garlic and onion... sauteed then... put the corned beef!

VIOLA!!!

When there's a left-over, put it on your ref. Then after 2 days when typhoon is still around and it's really hard to go to market....

Revived the corned beef!

Look what's inside your pantry again...

I found cheese!

And this,, ketchups from different fast food chains...

And I made this...

The weather now is so unpredictable.  So many of us got sick. The  colds, The coughs and the Flu...

For relieve try salabat tea! pampaganda pa ng boses! ehem!ehem! ahahay!!!

It's Ethan's Tea Time:-)

Hi Yah Mommies:-)

At 2, My Ethan is fond of tea party! Every weekend we do this in the shoebox house of us.

Now, I have an idea to prepare a tea party for his friends but before that event I want him first to learn how to entertain his guests.

First, Welcome your guests with a BIG SMILE:-)

Second, of course he should know how to offer the tea (juice for his friends)

Third, prepare the food: cookies..

butter cookies and chocolate chips cookies

A yummy Nachos

Hi Yah Mommies :-)

Eating is so much fun! And I would say that my new favourite hangout is the grocery store :-)  When I do it, one item that I would not miss putting in my cart is the mc cormick Taco Seasoning Mix and the Nacho Chips.

 

Have you tried this?

I’ll show you how to prepare..... ooops! This is crazeemum’s way ha.

Ingredients:

Ground pork or beef

1 big tomato

1 big garlic (white or red)

Chezzee spread

Step. 1 –  chopped tomato and garlic then stir fry

 Step 2 – set aside

Step 3 – put the seasoning mix in a glass and put a little water then Mix.

Step 4 -- stir fry the ground pork/beef until golden brown

 Step 5 – put nacho chips in plate toppings with garlic,tomato,groundbeef/pork and chezzee spread.

 Viola.. It’s ready!!!

Don’t forget to call your QC (Quality control )aka. Junakis for taste test!

Ooopsss… for the left-over seasoning mix sealed it with a tape.

What is the Essence of being a Woman?

How are you?

It’s been a while but I’m glad that some of you are still there to visit my blog.  I know, I have so many things to catch up with you. Some of you would ask if I still blogging.

Yes I am!

If I have topics to blog, it would be my Ethan Geronimo, I would love to share my thoughts how he grow up so fast and how I am amazed with his fanny antics.

Working mom like me will surely understand what I mean and feel. 

I remember Ms. Universe 1994, Sushmita Sen of India’s winning answer to the question.  “What is the essence of being a woman?” She answered…

 "Just being a woman is God s gift that all of us must appreciate. The origin of a child is a mother, and is a woman. She shows a man what sharing, caring and loving is all about? That is the essence of a woman. reference

I was in second year high school then, and the first woman I thought is my mom.  My God's gift having 4 sons and 3 daughters. She also managed having a husband working abroad. For me she is really a superwoman!

And now that I have my own son, I love to tag myself as a “super mom” for my Ethan.

If only I could stay with my Ethan 24/7 I will. But I can’t.  So I would also like to give credits to my girl Friday for being there to my Ethan 24/7.  My girl Friday is also an essence of a woman.

Working in a rainy days

A Letter for my Crazeepartner

I am so inspired to inspired to write a letter today.

I have one for my craze partner.

To Jerome,

Dad, why are you sleeping like an oil today? Haven’t I told you time and time again not to play basketball on weekdays? Remember that you’re not young anymore, your old enough para makipagsabayan sa mga bagets….

Haissstt!!!

So I went here in the office commuting and riding a jeepney. Walastik! Ang pang waluhan  na upuan ay nagging pang syaman na ngayon.  Alma kong pang waluhan lang taiga yun, may pampasaheriong jeepney kaya kami non. Badtrip!  Huli pa ako sumakay, kaya ayun… nanginginig ang tuhod ko ngayon, daig ko pa ngayonang nag basketball.

Kapag yumaman tayo, Please promise me to buy a pmapasaherong jeepney exclusive for me, para hinde na manginig ang tuhod ko.

And speaking of Promise.. I listed down all the promises you made a long…long…time ago.  I want to refreshen your mind at sana ay …

1. Please change our shower in the bathroom, gaya mo matanda na rin ako, sumasakit ang aking balakang sa kakayuko para sumalok ng tubig sa balde tuwing maliligo ako at alam mo ba? pati ang gripo natin ay malapit na ring masira? Paano na kung pati iyon ay masira? Saan ako sasalok ng tubig pampaligo? Sa Inodoro?    
2. Yung 2 frame na binili ko para sa Rhea’s Gallery hanggang ngayon hinde pa rin nasasabit at nakapatong lang sa freezer, kaya hinde ako makagawa ng yelo na pambenta sana sa ating mga kapitbahay, mahirap magbukas at magsara ng freezer kapag may nakapatong.  Sayang din ang kikitain ko dun no!
3. Nagpapasalamat naman ako sayo dahil nakapag first coat ka na ng pintura sa kusina natin, (YEHEY!) pero sana naman bago mg tatlong taon si Ethan ay nakapag finishing ka na!
4. Hanggang ngayon, Super kalan parin ang gamit natin sa pagluluto, Naawa na nga ang kaibigan nating si Ed at binigyan tayo ng regulator para daw mapalitan na natin ang super kalan (poor opuras Hahaha) Hihintayin mo pa ba na bigyan pa tayo ni Ed ng GASUL?

Sana kahit isa dyan ay maaksyunan mo na... lalo na walang pasok sa wednesday at mahaba ang weekdays sa susunod na linggo...

A Letter for my Geronimo

Hi Yah  Mommies:-)

I am a working mom

The day Ethan Geronimo was born was the best day in my life and my 2 1/2 maternity leave was my best vacation.  As the first time mom, I've learned not to sleep at night just to stare at him and waiting for his queue to make dede.

On the first day of my back to work was the saddest day. I am working in my office table but my mind was occupied by my baby.  How I wish I can stay with him all the day and see Ethan's doing.

Being a working mom is a hard task.  It makes your heart break when your child cries and begs you not to go to office and stay with him.

To My Geronimo,

Now that you’re two and a half I am amazed of the things you are showing me.  Sometimes I am asking myself how did you grow so fast and understand that Mommy needs to go to office everyday.  Everyday when I making cross on your forehead and we pray “Dear Jesus, Thank you for the wonderful day, please take care of me and yaya while Mommy and Daddy is away.  Also send my angel to guide me and guard me. Please take care of mommy and daddy while they are riding in the motorcycle.” you repeat what I said and in the end of our prayer you will said… AMEN.

Every time I hear you saying AMEN, I got so emotional.  At an early age you already know how understand that Mommy needs to go to office everyday.

You are my inspiration for life Ethan and I will do everything for you.

One of my plan topic to post on my blog is is my lunch with my officemates.  But I always forgot to take a picture of US and our food.

Today, I had a chance to take a picture for my blog.  Here we are preparing for our food, this is US. Like kapamilya stars! Cooking and eating was one of the happiness of US.

Dressing Up Like A blogger part 2!

Hi Yah Mommies:-)

I had a blogpost before  on how to dress up like a blogger.  Here, I showed you how a blogger like me, carried a dress:-) (oh men! feeling bloggera!) hehehe

And now that I've decided to blog seriously, I woke up today and wore a stilleto for my blogpost today!

I learned that being a blogger you should always be presentable. Little by little I am learning it and my plan now is to revive my KAGANDAHAN! echos!!! (tawa naman dyan) : 

But reviving KAGANDAHAN is so painful. Now it's 3PM and my feet hurts! (Oh stilleto why you are not so good to me today?).

OMG! I remember the last time I wear this stilleto was 1 year and 6 months ago. On My Ethan's first birthday.

Now, I should learn again how to wear stilletos, just to revive my KAGANDAHAN! (may konek?) hahaha!
