DIY Parrot Costume

My crazeesun had their Primary Week last week with a Disney Musical Theme, Their section will portray a Musical scene from Aladdin and his role was Iago the Parrot.

His teacher sent this photo as PEG 

and showed to our crazeesdud  and had an agreement that he will do the headpiece and I will do on the body part.   But due to short time notice I search from the net on how to DIY a parrot costume.

So a day after that, I started to look for the materials and it was so hard to find some, and took us 5 days to complete the materials.

I am giving you this  Make It and Love it sitefor the full tutorial of the wings and tail. I just used a glue gun instead of sewing it and because We run out of felt cloth, I just used a felt paper for the tail.

       

For the Head Piece, The crazeedud was blessed enough to have creative minds and beautiful hands to sew it.  

                                           

For the feet, I have a quick mind to think that we can use the foot trace of the T-Rex we used on ..crazeesun's 4th dinosaur birthday   I just glued it with the orange felt paper and put garter at the back

Bagalangit Hideaways

I am back and want to share our Bagalangit Hideaways experienced.

 One of the things the Crazeefumily like is Swimming especially on a long weekend and staying on a beach.  We rarely go to a mall and shop, for us Memories are forever and experiences are the best learning we can give to our crazeesun.

Last week of October when I’m checking my Yahoo Mail, I saw agoda’s  mail and tried to search for a beach that we can stay for a long weekend on the first week of November.

And voila!!! There’s a best deal from Bagalangit Hideaways located in Mabini Batangas for only P2,500.00 we can stay overnight and enjoy the place.

And indeed, We really enjoyed the place.

The view was amazing, the pool with slide, the Jacuzzi, the room, the food, and the beach!!!   It was perfect!!!

We arrived at around 9 am that is too early for our 2 PM check-in time so we had our breakfast first.  Bacon and egg for crazeesun, Longgasilog for me and dangsilog for crazeedud, the food costs Php180.00 per meal.

 But what is nice is their free overflowing barako coffee.

                                               After our breakfast, we stayed in the cabana and crazeesun started to swim in the Jacuzzi, then went on the pool.. and in the beach.  I think we already enjoyed the place.

So 2 PM came and went to our standard room and rest for a whil, at 4PM we had our snacks, pansit canton and chicken sandwhich with fries, then.. enjoy the pool and the beach!

On the beach, crazeedud were really happy seeing a different kind of fishes,

For our dinner, we had sinigang na hipon and crispy pata and satisfied our cravings. (sorry no photo available)

The only regret I had is failed to research about their beach, the beach was too rocky, and need water shoes to fully enjoy your snorkeling activities.

Overall, my heart filled with happiness, the experienced is great even the staffs were friendly and made us at home!

3. at ang masakit.. nakakaliit minsan sa sarili.. biro mo... habang naglalakad ka.. left and right sila ate na naglalakad.. may bitbit na bulaklak habang ikaw ay wala ☹☹☹☹

Wednesday naman pala sa February 14.. Ikaw ay magsimba sa Baclaran... sa mga may lovelife, magpasalamat na meron kang lovelife na nagpapasaya at nagpapaluha ng bonggang bongga sayo.

Kaya, umpisahan na natin....

Una,  Matunog ngayon ang Bureau of Customs ano? Dahil sa pinapataw nilang mga buwis sa mga package na padala ng ating mga mahal sa buhay mula sa ibang bansa.  Nabalitaan nyo ba yung batang umiyak sa custom dahil hinde nya nakuha ang laruang christmas gift sana ng tatay nya dahil sa mahal ang buwis na babayaran? E yung Gucci bag na Php16,000.00 ang buwis at etong huli yung Champion Filipina Boxer na humigit-kumulang na Php6,000.000 naman ang buwis?

Lahat sila ay kontrobersyal...  baket kamo? eh ang mamahal ng sinisingil sa kanila eh. Imagine... yung halaga ng BUWIS ay halos kasing halaga na rin ng loob ng package! (TOO BAD!)

Haiistt!!! kahapon, galing akong Philpost, inutusan ako ng boss kong kunin ang package na binili nya from US dahil eto daw ay FOR CUSTOMS EVALUATION.

To make the story short... ayun! nagpunta nga ako.. mga 8:30am, swerte ko.. kasi konti palang ang tao... ayun pinapila ako..

Sumagot naman ako, at ang sabi ko "Mam, something na kinakabit yan sa computer, so computer parts:-), Amo ko po yung receiver at wala po akong company kasi Personal Assistant po nya ko:-)

Tapos, binuksan na nila ang item sa harapan ko, chinek chek.. at nagsabi pang baka daw kinakabit yun sa bomb! Lokong custom to.. mukha ba akong bomber? (Badtrip!)

No to Teen Suicidal

How's your rainy day?  Hope it's fine.

Have you heard the news yesterday about Julia Buencamino aka "Bestie" in Oh My G? The 15-year old actress took her own life.

I was shocked that Teenage Suicidal is really happening here in the Philippines eh to think that Filipinos were known to be the  happiest  people in the world. One thing I'm sure.. this young lady was depressed and chose to end her life. Most teenagers get depressed because of worthlessness feelings.  Now, I realized that even how much happy are you if depression will come, it will come and may lead you to suicidal attempts.

SAD:-(

Many see suicide as a way to end pain and feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness.  

I really feel the pain of her parents, there are no words to express the depth of sadness and sorrow that it is felt by a parents when their child dies so young. I can't really imagine how painful it is  if someone I loved will take his/her own life. Hinde ko ata makakaya.

As a mother and an Auntie, I will be aware of my nephews, nieces and son's  feelings and give my two ears to listen to their thoughts and ideas.  I will continue to build a good communication with them and lastly I will do extra effort to observe their behavior. I will use my motherly instinct to feel if someone's feel a long-lasting sadness.

Many Psychologists say that kids with depression will have a noticeable change in their thinking and behavior such as: Closing their bedroom after school and staying in their room for hours, sleeping excessively, a change in eating habits and difficulty in following their daily routine.

Depression carries a highlight of suicide, anybody who expresses suicidal thoughts should be taken seriously.
